The Surrey group left Newlands Corner at 10:00am to run down to Bexhill on Sea and the De La Warr Pavilion (TN40 1DP) where SOCrates was passed to East Sussex.
SOCrates arrives at Brooklands, welcomed by approx 25 Stags.
Bob Heritage plus 4 or 5 other Stags from West Sussex started at Fontwell Park and ran up to Brooklands where a reception of about 25 Stags and crews was assembled. Several areas were represented including East Sussex, Essex, Berks, Bucks & Oxon, Solent, New Forrest and Surrey. SOCrates (the mascot) was handed over to the Surrey group.
